With Covid cases on the rise, healthcare workers are facing an increasing amount of stress.

Covid cases are on the rise once again—and so is the stress on frontline workers. Now, just like last year, Knick's Tavern and Grill and Artisan Cheese Company are offering their customers opportunities to provide meals to Sarasota Memorial Hospital staff.

Knick's hopes that providing food to hospital workers will take the burden of eating well off of their plates. With each donation, Knick's will be deliver freshly made, boxed meals to the hospital. Contributions can be made on the restaurant's website, by Venmo-ing @knickstavern, or by using Apple Pay at the number (941) 232-3406. Donation options range from $20-$500. Each meal is priced at $12.50, so a $50 donation, for example, will provide four meals.

Similarly, the Rosemary District's Artisan Cheese Company is encouraging customers to buy lunch for a first responder. Customers can start a $15 tab for a health care worker, which includes lunch and a soft drink.
