The Sarasota-Manatee Originals, a coalition of dozens of local, independent restaurants, is once again selling gift certificates to a number of member restaurants at a 30 percent discount. That means you can get a $15 certificate for $10.50, a $20 certificate for $14, a $25 certificate for $17.50 or a $50 certificate for $35, depending on the restaurant.

More than 30 restaurants are participating in the sale. The gift cards can be used for dine-in eating only, and expire after six months. Take a gander at the list of restaurants joining the promotion here.
