With the addition of Five-O Donut Co and now Crumbl Cookies, University Town Center is about to get a whole lot sweeter. The cookie franchise famous for its weekly rotating menu is opening its doors in Sarasota this Friday, Feb. 11. From 8 a.m. to midnight, cookie lovers can celebrate the grand opening of Crumbl at the University Town Center.

Founded by Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley, two “crazy cousins”—their words, not ours—Crumbl got its start in Logan, Utah, in 2017. Now, five years later, the company has grown to include 300 locations in 36 states.

In addition to its award-winning warm milk chocolate chip cookie and chilled pink sugar cookie, Crumbl offers an ever-changing menu of flavors. Each week, four or five cookies are replaced with others. This week’s flavors include Hazelnut Churro, S'mores, Vanilla Sugar, Cake Batter Blondie and Buckeye Brownie. Don’t worry—the milk chocolate chip cookies are always on the menu.
