Get a Taste of UTC Starting This Weekend

From April 1-15, enjoy three course meals from 10 of UTC's eateries.

We hope you're ready to delight your taste buds while keeping your wallet happy and full, because Taste of UTC is back. Starting this Friday, University Town Center will be hosting a two-week event in which guests can dine on an array of cuisine including American, Indian and French. Each participating restaurant will have an affordable prix fixe menu for lunch and/or dinner. Keep reading to find out what you can expect to sink your teeth into.

Apollonia Grill

Journey to the Mediterranean with Apollonia Grille. This restaurant will be serving up $20 lunches and  $49 dinners. The everyday lineup includes Mediterranean classics like moussaka, phyllo pies, hummus and baklava.

Kona Grill

Try some award-winning sushi and contemporary, casual American dining at Kona Grill. Start lunch with a cup of warm miso soup, edamame or oriental salad—a mix of fresh veggies with crunchy almond/ramen mix and drizzled in sweet-soy dressing. Then choose from one of seven entrees, including chicken pad thai noodles, a poke bowl and a crunchy, spicy tuna roll. The dinner menu includes potstickers, prime rib and coconut rum cake.

Mademoiselle Paris

Paris is calling. Bask in the flavors of the city of love at Mademoiselle Paris. Create the perfect dinner date atmosphere with foie gras, plateau de fromages or Camembert chaud—an entire wheel of Camembert baked and served with toast for dipping or spreading. Entrees include roasted lamb chops and duck breast with orange sauce. Finish the night with lava cake and ice cream, chocolate-covered profiteroles or a crepe suzette. The $20 lunch option offers guests their choice of a salad or the soup du jour as a starter. For the main course, choose from a flavorful array ranging from a ham and swiss croissant to a chicken, mushroom and spinach crepe topped with white cream sauce.

Norman Love Confections

Take a walk on the sweet side with a visit to Norman Love Confections. The chocolaterie is offering guests a simple yet scrumptious dessert menu. Good luck deciding between the French macaroons or mini gateaux. And pair your choice with either a glass of house wine or a cup of steamy coffee.

Origin Craft Beer & Pizza Cafe

Keep things simple and classic at Origin Craft Beer & Pizza Cafe. Lunch is $16 and comes with a half salad, 10-inch pizza of your choice and a cannoli. At dinner, start with a half order of wings or a salad. Then select a 12-inch pizza from Origin’s 17 pies. A cannoli makes the perfect end to any meal.

Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern

A casual American dining experience awaits you at Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern. Enjoy a lunch of salad or the soup-of-the-day, a handheld—bucket burger, el cubano, or buffalo chicken sandwich—or a Cobb salad for your main course. Sticky bread pudding, cast iron brownies and new york cheesecake make up the dessert menu.  At dinner time, supper classics such as chicken parm, meatloaf and soy-glazed salmon are available, too.

Seasons 52

At Seasons 52, lunch and dinner share the same first course menu—a cup of seasonal soup, field greens, romaine salad or golden beets salad. During lunch, select a wood-grilled, dry-rub pork chop, sesame-grilled salmon salad or wood-grilled shrimp and grits. The dinner menu consists of cedar plank-roasted salmon, an 8oz wood-grilled filet mignon or caramelized, grilled sea scallops. Wrap up your lunch or dinner with a mini  dessert. And for an extra charge, you can add a glass of red, white or sparkling wine to your meal.

Sophie's at Sak's Fifth Avenue

Sophie’s hasn’t released its Taste of UTC menu yet, but here's a pro tip: while you enjoy your lunch, be sure to take full advantage of the view from the outdoor terrace.

Tandoor Fine Indian Cuisine

In the mood for authentic Indian cuisine? Take a ride down to Tandoor Fine Indian Cuisine. You can expect to find butter chicken, chicken curry, chana masala and saag bhaji on the lunch menu. Each comes served with steaming hot rice, naan and an appetizer. Classic south Asian dishes like curry, biryani and tandoori are on tap for dinner. Be on the lookout for the restaurant’s prix fixe menu to see which of these flavorful favorites are featured!

The Capital Grille

Appetizers include your choice of a wedge salad with bleu cheese and smoked bacon, a field greens salad with Parmesan vinaigrette or a cup of New England clam chowder. Filet mignon, roasted chicken breast and seared, citrus-glazed salmon make up the entree menu (or you can elevate your meal with double-cut lamb chops, sliced filet mignon, Maine lobster tail or bone-in, dry-aged NY strip for an extra charge). Savor the evening with a flourless chocolate, espresso cake, cheesecake or the chef’s selection.
