99 Bottles Taproom & Bottle Shop was named one of the best beer shops in the United States by Wine Enthusiast Magazine last month. The local watering hole was one of only two Florida shops to be recognized by the magazine. The 40-shop list was curated by brewers, writers, chefs and, of course, beer drinkers.

“It’s truly an honor to have 99 Bottles be recognized among other notable bottle shops in the U.S., let alone by Wine Enthusiast,” owner Mark Tuchman said in a press release. “Our amazing customers, local community and incredible staff have been extremely supportive and led us to this recognition.”

Since its opening in 2019, 99 Bottles has become a beer and wine staple in the heart of downtown Sarasota. Its extensive list of beer and wine, as well as non-alcoholic options like kombucha on tap, offers the opportunity for everyone to enjoy their time at the shop’s bar or while soaking up the sunshine at one of its outdoor tables.
