Downtown Wellen Park in Venice now has its very own farmers market. Fresh Harvest Farmers Market takes place every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with nearly 40 vendors ranging from Polish food to farm produce and fresh fish to bagels. Plus, there are plenty of craft tents to stock up on gifts.

“The first few weeks have been a huge success,” Christine Masney, vice president of marketing for Wellen Park, said in a press release. “It’s wonderful seeing how many residents and guests have come out to support our local vendors. This is such a great way to shop for produce and goods.”

“Fresh Harvest is a place to meet up with your friends, bring your children and get to know your neighbors,” she continued.

Wellen Park is projected to be home to more than 50,000 residents after its full buildout, meaning there will be loads of neighbors to meet in the coming years.

Meanwhile, Fresh Harvest is continuing to add more vendors for the upcoming weeks, with an emphasis on food-centric producers. The market is open every Sunday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
