The Unitarian Universalist Church of Sarasota, with the support of Presenting Sponsor BDH Associates, LLC, is proud to present a climate change symposium titled, “Fire, Floods and Famine: What Can We Do About Climate Change?” The event, which takes place at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Sarasota (3975 Fruitville Road, Sarasota) on Wednesday, February 11, from 4:30-8:30pm, will include a catered dinner by Morton’s Gourmet Market (soft drinks and wine will be included). Featured panelists at the event will be David Hastings, a professor of Marine Science and Chemistry at Eckerd College; Eric Draper, the executive director of Audubon Florida; and Linda Marsa, a speaker, journalist and author of “FEVERED: Why a Hotter Planet will Hurt Our Health and How We Can Save Ourselves.”
