Florida Studio Theatre

The Sarasota Film Festival’s Education Department, in conjunction with Daughters for Life, New College of Florida and Educate for Change, presents an evening rooted in the discussion of diversity and the education of women. There will be a VIP reception along with a screening of the film “Sepideh”. The movie follows the path of a young woman seeking education in a world determined to keep from it. It merges with the intent of the Education for Change program which aims to bring a new student from the Middle East to study four years at the New College of Florida. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish, the founder of Daughters for Life, is attendance. Tickets are $30 for general admission and $125 for VIP admission.
