Sarasota-based Insula Companies acquired the 312-unit Charter Pointe Apartments in Altamonte Springs, Fla., for $23 million. The purchase marks the eighth for Insula in 2015.
Tri of Lakewood Ranch Apartments LLC purchased approximately 41 acres on Lakewood Ranch Boulevard for $5.94 million from SMR Northwest Land LLC. The land is expected to be used for a 360-unit apartment complex called Echo Lake Apartments.
IJKB LLC purchased the approximately 13,800-square-foot warehouse building at 2446 19th St. in Sarasota from BJSC LLC for $1.2 million. Brian Seidel of American Property Group represented the seller; Ryan Carson of Re/Max Florida represented the buyer.
Neal Communities sold 90 homes across five counties in August, continuing a sales pace that has broken company records all year. Communities in Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, Lee and Collier counties attracted buyers in all demographics, with Grand Palm in Venice leading the pack with 23 home sales last month.
