The commercial construction company J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. recently broke ground on the Lakewood Ranch location of Bayside Pet Resort, a luxury pet resort for dogs and cats. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on July 28 to celebrate the new location. The 14,600-square-foot building was designed to blend in with the area's existing architecture. The first Bayside Pet Resort & Spa opened in 2012 in Sarasota.
