Three Local Swimming Pool Builders Win 2020 State Design Awards

Workmanship, soundness of design, practicality and safety won the day.

Superior Pools of Southwest Florida, Gold winner for residential restoration.

Three area pool builders have received awards from the Florida Swimming Pool Association for excellence in design.

The annual FSPA Design Awards program gives members an opportunity to enter their pools, spas and water features for judging on workmanship, soundness of design, beauty, practicality and safety.

Superior Pools' Gold winner, 250-500 square feet.

Superior Pools of Southwest Florida, based in Port Charlotte, took home two Gold honors; one in Residential Pool 250-500 square feet and one in Residential Pool Restoration.  They also won a Silver award in Residential Pool/Spa Vanishing Edge.

AquaTech Pool's Bronze award-winning residential pool.

AuqaTech Pool GC, based in Nokomis, won a Bronze award in Residential Pool 250-500 square feet. They also won an Award of Merit in Residential Spa.

Coast to Coast Pools' Award of Merit-winning vanishing-edge pool.

Coast to Coast Pools in Sarasota took home an Award of Merit in the Residential Pool/Spa Vanishing Edge category.

“The FSPA Design Awards recognizes some of the best pools being built in Florida by FSPA members,” Wendy Parker, executive director of the Florida Swimming Pool Association, said in a written statement. “The excellence and quality seen in these pools, spas and water features are a true testament to the builders.” Seven hundred pool building companies across the state are members of the organization.
