Powerboat P1 USA recently picked Sarasota's Suncoast Charities for Children as the organization's official charity of the year for its 2016 season. The two organizations have partnered to produce the Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix Festival, now in its 32nd year. Suncoast Charities supports the Suncoast Foundation for Handicapped Children, which provides and maintains facilities for special needs children, as well as teens, adults and their families.
