New College of Florida students are bringing experts in technology, art, communications, artificial intelligence and virtual reality to the Sarasota-Manatee region on Saturday, April 16, with TEDx NewCollegeofFlorida, a local edition of the well-known TED Conference series. The theme of the conference is “The Art of Technology.” The event runs 6-10 p.m. at New College's Sudakoff Conference Center, 5845 General Dougher Place, Sarasota. Tickets are $25 or free for college students who have completed the event application form found here.
