Colony Property to Become St. Regis Resort
Longboat Key's shuttered Colony resort will become a St. Regis resort, according to the owner and developer of the property.
Longboat Key's shuttered Colony resort will become a St. Regis resort, according to Unicorp National Developments, Inc., the owner and developer of the property. Plans for the resort include 166 hotel rooms, 102 residential units, two restaurants, a 15,700-square-foot spa and a ballroom. The Colony has been closed since 2010.
