Kolter Homes has announced the addition of Rachel Scheer as Cresswind Lakewood Ranch’s lifestyle director. Scheer, a member of the Evergreen property management team, will create a lifestyle program that homeowners in the 55-plus community can access and enjoy ahead of Cresswind's clubhouse completion. The community’s founding residents will be able to enjoy the initial lifestyle offerings through an interim “social house” located near the community model park. The permanent clubhouse is set to open in the spring of 2021 and will feature a fitness center, yoga studio, art studio with ceramics capability, multi-purpose event room, billiards and various social clubs. Outdoor amenities include pickleball and tennis courts, wide walkways, dog parks, a resort-style pool and spa, event and food truck plaza, bocce court and outdoor social areas. 

Scheer has worked in the lifestyle sector for more than 15 years, starting as the activities director at the Washington-based Aegis Living. In the Sarasota-Bradenton area, she spent the last two years developing personalized calendars and events for residents at ManorCare Health Services-Sarasota, and as the corporate lifestyle assistant at Pope Properties. She graduated from Ithaca College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communication with a concentration in interpersonal relationships.
