Lakewood Ranch Resident Receives Prestigious National Honors

Brendan Flores has been recognized by NAAPPPA and WorldRemit as one of the nation's most prominent Filipino-Americans.

Brendan Flores, a Lakewood Ranch resident and senior vice-president at Bank of America, recently received two awards recognizing him as one of nation’s most prominent Filipino-Americans. Flores was named one of  the National Association of Asian Pacifics in Politics and Public Affairs (NAAPPPA)’s Top 40 Political Operatives and Public Affairs Professionals Under 40, and one of WorldRemit’s Top 15 Most Influential Filipinos in America.

Flores is the first millennial and youngest-ever president and national chairman of NaFFAA, America’s largest national affiliation of Filipino-American institutions. In this role, he leads the organization’s national efforts to politically empower the 4 million Filipinos and Filipino Americans in the U.S. through civic engagement programs such as voter registration, voter protection and Get Out the Vote (GOTV). In his role at Bank of America, Flores leverages more than 15 years of industry experience to drive consumer results across 100 of the bank’s locations in Southwest Florida.
