Sarasota Memorial Hospital Installs New Physician Leaders

Sarasota Memorial Hospital has announced the installation of its 2021 team of physician leaders this week. At its annual medical staff meeting on Tuesday, the following physicians were selected to serve on the hospital’s medical executive committee in an annual term that starts in November: Jack Wazen, M.D., chief of staff, who succeeds Alissa Shulman, M.D.; Richard Lichtenstein, M.D., chief of staff-elect; Joseph Seaman, M.D., secretary-treasurer; and Chippy Ajithan, M.D., and Heitor Okanobo, M.D., members-at-large.
