New College moved up a spot—from No. 6 to No. 5—in U.S. News & World Report’s 2022 "Best Colleges” rankings. The college also rose two spots to No. 82 among all national liberal arts colleges and received a number of specialty rankings, such as No. 23 for “Most Innovative Schools” and No. 67 for “Social Mobility.”

New College has also been recognized as one of the "Best 387 Colleges in 2022" by The Princeton Review.
