The Sarasota County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) has recently launched a new campaign and job search tool on its website to help local businesses recruit skilled workers to Sarasota County. It will be promoted nationally via social media and through branded content on USA Today networks in markets from which people are moving, including Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.

“Work Where You Want to Live” highlights Sarasota County’s quality of life, educational system and local employers. The job search tool aggregates local job openings through JobsEQ, a data aggregator, and allows users to click through to employers’ websites to learn more and apply. While users can search for jobs in any industry the EDC’s target sectors are highlighted on the page, including manufacturing, technology, professional services and life sciences.
