The Community Foundation of Sarasota County recently awarded a $7,800 grant to Satchel's Last Resort, a Sarasota no-kill animal shelter and sanctuary. The money will help the organization by providing money for volunteer tracking software that will allow it to improve the volunteer experience and volunteer retention, as well as funding for a new website and professional video content to increase the shelter's online presence.
