Floridians Have Received $31.9 Billion Dollars From State Reemployment Program

More than 97 percent of claims filed with the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity prior to Dec. 10 have been fulfilled.

According to The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity's latest Reemployment Assistance update, it has paid more than two million claimants more than $31.9 billion since the program's inception in March of 2020. More than 5.8 million unique claims have been processed.

The weekly update further cites that 97.9 percent of all eligible benefits applied for before Dec. 10, 2021, for state Reemployment Assistance, Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation or Pandemic Unemployment Assistance have been paid to claimants.
