Sarasota County Launches '2021 Year in Review'

The report is the county's annual summary of its projects, programs and accomplishments.

Sarasota County Government has published its annual summary of its projects, programs, and accomplishments in 2021. It includes a look at how taxpayer dollars were spent, as well as the county's Covid-19 vaccine distribution program. The report also highlights the Legacy Trail extension, Myrtle Street crossing improvements, downtown cooling plant and Fire Station 13.

Comissioners have approved $102 million in construction contracts for 2022, which include improvements in water quality, roadway resurfacing, enhanced safety measures at Sarasota County Area Transit bus stops and more. To read the full report, click here.
