ALSO Youth, a nonprofit organization serving Sarasota and Manatee counties' LGBTQ+ youth community, has hired a new executive director. Rebecca “Becky” McDonough assumed the role on April 11, 2022. McDonough has a long career in business and behavioral healthcare administration. Her most recent role was director of clinical services at Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center, a psychiatric residential treatment center for youth with trauma history. She has a master’s degree in human development counseling from Bradley University, and a doctorate in counseling psychology from Argosy University.
