Gov. Ron DeSantis  recently announced the appointment of Canada West to the Florida Rehabilitation Council. The Florida Rehabilitation Council (FRC) works with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) in planning and developing statewide rehabilitation programs.

West, of Sarasota, is the senior vocational rehabilitation counselor for the Division of Vocational Rehab. She is also a representative on the Counselor Advisory Team. West earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia and her master’s degree from Webster University.
