Selby Foundation Awards Nearly $1.1 Million in Grants to Area Nonprofits

The funding was part of the foundation's spring grant cycle.

The William G. and Marie Selby Foundation recently awarded nearly $1,075,314 in grants to 17 local nonprofit organizations in a number of program areas, including arts and culture, community and civic aid, education, and health and human services.

The grant recipients are Art Center Sarasota, Florida Studio Theatre, Inc., Key Chorale Inc., Arcadia-DeSoto County Habitat for Humanity, Inc., Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, Inc., Teen Court of Sarasota, Inc., The Bay Park Conservancy, Laurel Civic Association, Inc., Library Foundation for Sarasota County, Charlotte County Homeless Coalition, Inc., Epilepsy Services of Southwest Florida, Inc., Forty Carrots of Sarasota, Inc., Good Samaritan Pharmacy & Health Services Inc, Jewish Family and Children's Service of Sarasota-Manatee, Inc., Meals on Wheels of Charlotte County, NAMI Sarasota County, Inc., and Sarasota Manatee Association for Riding Therapy, Inc.
