CenterPlace Health Receives Grant for Behavioral Healthcare

Plus, the Education Foundation of Sarasota is awarded a $15,000 grant from Bank of America and more.

CenterPlace Health has received a grant for behavioral healthcare from the Covid-19 Response Initiative of Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation and Gulf Coast Community Foundation. The grant, an undisclosed amount, will enable CenterPlace Health to fund a doctoral psychology intern position. The process to start finding interns starts now so this funding will secure an intern for next year. In addition to covering the intern, this grant will also be used to purchase additional testing supplies for the behavioral health testing team. 

The Education Foundation of Sarasota County recently received a $15,000 grant  from Bank of America to help fund programs that provide Sarasota County students with greater access to individualized resources and opportunities that help them prepare a plan for their lives after high school. 

The Circus Arts Conservatory recently received a $20,000 grant through the Eugene F. and Elizabeth Hull Fund and Bishop-Parker Foundations Fund of the Manatee Community Foundation (MCF); a $3,000 grant from the Rotary Club of Sarasota Bay Foundation; and a $5,000 recurring grant from the Venice Golf & Country Club Foundation.

The Tidewell Foundation recently announced it received a $2,000 grant from Boca CARES to support Tidewell Hospice’s integration of technology in care for patients with hearing loss. The organization also received a $5,000 grant from Donors of Distinction and a $3,000 grant from Sisterhood for Good.
