Where to Find Sandbags in Sarasota and Manatee Counties

Residents are allowed ten sandbags per vehicle in both counties.

Sandbag facilities have been set up for Sarasota and Manatee Counties ahead ofย Tropical Storm Idalia's arrival. Manatee County sites are currently operational and Sarasota County sites will be ready by 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28. Sarasota County sandbag sites will close at 7 p.m. today and reopen tomorrow, Aug. 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Each site allows ten sandbags per vehicle.
