Siesta Key Rum Tours

Friday, Feb.7

Siesta Key Rum hosts regular free tours that include an explanation of the machinery and rum-making process. Visitors get to taste samples of the distillery's delicious spirits, including the Gold, Spiced, Silver and Toasted Coconut rums. Register here.

Venice Farmers Market

Saturday, Feb. 8

Venice's regular Saturday market is sure to please, with ready-to-eat foods like home-baked French bread, paella, empanadas and many more freshly cooked items from over 50 stands. There is also a wide array of organic produce from local farms and uniquely made arts and crafts.

Braves on Miami: Mardi Gras Style 

Saturday, Feb. 8

The Braves will be kicking off the start of their season in Mardi Gras style. The event will have activities that cater to the whole family, including corn hole games, face painting and food and drink trucks. Former Braves player Andruw Jones will be in attendance for a meet and greet. A Grammy-winning jazz band, Rebirth Brass Band, will also be playing live music.

Sarasota Farmers Market

Saturday, Feb. 8

The local farmer's market every Saturday is great for fresh food shopping and meeting new people, with plenty of food options like empanadas and fresh pasta. If you're not in the mood for food, check out the various stalls with art, spices and plants.
