The Eye Associates will break ground for its new office in Venice this morning at 9 a.m at 1150 E. Venice Ave. The public is invited to attend. The 10,000-square-foot office is expected to open in October 2020, and is an effort to better serve Venice residents and the surrounding communities. The Eye Associates—which also has offices in Bradenton, Ellenton, Sarasota and Sun City Center—specializes in cataracts, corneal treatments, dry eyes, glaucoma, retinal treatments, LASIK surgery, clear lens replacement and oculo-plastics surgery. Its team includes seven optometrists, a dermatologist and a hearing specialist.
