The Ringling Names Amy Sankes Named Senior Director of Development

The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art recently announced the appointment of Amy Sankes as senior director of development. 

Wellen Park was named best overall development in Sarasota and Manatee counties during the 2026 Suncoast Builders Association Parade of Homes.

Omar Edwards, associate director of strategic planning for the School District of Manatee County, won National Life Group’s 2025-26 LifeChanger of the Year award. He also received a $3,000 cash prize to be split between a $1,500 individual award and a $1,500 donation to the district. 

Big Waters Land Trust has hired Justin Smith as chief program officer.

The Pines of Sarasota Foundation has appointed Lisa Keverian-Press as chair of its board of trustees, and announced the addition of two new board members, Jonathan “Mason” Askew and Matt Hess.
