Williams Parker recently announced that Hosana Fieber has joined the firm as chief operating officer.

Three local Girl Scout Cadettes from Troop 608 (part of the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida)—Addison B., Emma V. and Brinley E.—have earned Girl Scout Silver Awards for providing nine sensory kits for kids to free-standing local emergency departments and walk-in clinics. The Girl Scout Silver Award is the highest honor a Cadette can earn through Girl Scouts of the USA

Sarasota Memorial Hospital was recently named to Newsweek’s eighth annual "World’s Best Hospitals" list.

 Bealls Inc. has announced the appointment of David N. Brown as vice president of stores.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties (BGCSD) has added David Barcomb, Veronica Brady, Dr. Megan Green, Dave Norton, Pete Powers and Kelvin Womack to its board of directors. Blake Gratton, Brock Gratton, Judy Kozlowski, Willy Murgolo and Kendall Peacock have joined the BGCSD Foundation board of directors.

Sarasota County has added several new members to its communications team: Shelia Roberson, communications director; Josh Taylor, assistant director of Communications; Emily Blaine, Public Information Officer; and Deb Cooney, public information officer for the county's solid waste division.
